How Does VenaSeal Work?
VenaSeal’s ingenious solution to varicose veins is perfect for nearly any lifestyle.
The VenaSeal Closure System uses an advanced medical adhesive to close and seal varicose veins, minimizing discomfort and recovery time. Your provider at Florida Lakes Vein Center fills a syringe with the VenaSeal adhesive and inserts it into the dispensing gun, which attaches to a catheter. They then insert the catheter (a tiny hollow tube) into the varicose vein using ultrasound guidance and inject the VenaSeal into the unhealthy veins.
Closing the diseased veins with VenaSeal in Venice means blood has to reroute through nearby veins. This improves circulation and relieves most symptoms of varicose veins.
VenaSeal FAQs
No, there is not downtime after VenaSeal in Venice. Your provider will apply a small bandage over the access site of your treatment, and you can quickly return to normal activities.
As with all medical treatments, some side effects may occur. Adverse reactions from VenaSeal are rare and limited, however. Some individuals have reported inflammation or other reactions, so your provider will ensure you know exactly what types of side effects you may experience.
